The City of Wilmington Fire Department is hosting a Junior Fire Academy for interested high schoolers.
The academy will be held July 19 – 23, 2021, at Wilmington Fire Department Station 3, located at 114 Cinema Dr. There are two sessions, a morning session, and an afternoon session. Academy hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. OR 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. There will be a graduation ceremony and cookout for family and friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided each day by WFD. Be sure to list all food allergies on application.
