The School of the New York Times Summer Academy

The School of the New York Times Summer Academy program gives intellectually curious high school students the opportunity to pursue their passions while living and learning in New York City or Washington DC. They offer a unique academic experience and encourage students to take their learning beyond the classroom and into the real world. Their two and four-week courses draw on the unique cultural landscape and industries of each city and the expertise of The New York Times.

Summer Academy is open to high school students (grades 10-12 and Graduating Seniors based on the grade the student is entering in the Fall 2020 school year). Students must be 15 years old by the first day of the program. All students new to Summer Academy are required to complete an online application.
