We are saddened to announce the passing of Grace Brinson, a WECHS freshman, on Thursday, January 27, 2022 after a long battle with several rare blood disorders. Though she did not get to spend much time on the WECHS campus this year she was always upbeat, positive, and excited to be here. She will be missed by all of those who knew her.

The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Jay Knolls officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Coble Funeral and Cremation Services at Greenlawn Memorial.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern NC or the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, NC.
