Advice to WECHS students:
Be intentional! Ask yourself what it is that you want to accomplish for the day/week/year and work towards that goal. Sitting at the front, the friends you make, understanding your learning style is all intentional to a successful year.
Also, if you do not know what exactly you want, WECHS teachers may have an inclination. Let your teachers know what your interests are, even if it seems something as small as what attire you’d like to wear to work. I recall telling one of my teachers that I envisioned myself wearing professional attire, but I was undecided as I wanted to do with my life. She gave me multiple ideas based on what seem unimportant information to me.
